I’m a wife, mother and grandmother all rolled into one. I enjoy cooking and baking and seem to do a lot of it. The center of our house has always been the kitchen where we seem to spend most of our time, my husband included. He is a good cook too, specializing in grilling! (I have to admit, that he was volunteered for this. Nevertheless, he has stepped up to the plate and worked it to his advantage. He also is awesome in the fact that he cleans up after my adventures in the kitchen, and almost never complains about it! What a man! And I appreciate it honey, if your reading this!) My daughters have become great cooks too, and I always enjoy visiting and having dinner with them. Currently the grand kids are taking an interest with cooking and baking and are quite talented already, their abilities amazing!
I have always in one way or another been around food and kitchens. Abilities, confidence, inspiration, and passion grew day by day. My biggest passion - desserts! Oh, that sugary, sweet, delectable type stuff fascinates me. I am constantly amazed and intrigued by the talent of those around us.
We all have to eat at one time or another, it’s something we have to do. But there is a difference in just the fact that we have to eat every day, to the pleasure of making, enjoying and creating cherished memories that begin in our kitchens. The closeness we feel when we have our loved ones and friends gathered around the dinner table. I believe this is what cooking is all about. The rewards of our kitchen, our sharing of recipes, time and talents brings us all together and I am happy to share what I have to offer too.
